Clark County Department of Transportation

Clark County Transportation Departments are responsible for maintaining and improving transportation infrastructure, including state roads and highways, bridges, airports, ports and waterways, public transit systems, and railways in Clark County. Infrastructure maintenance often involves emergency response to accidents, disasters, and inclement weather such as winter storms. Clark County DOT Offices manages the allocation of Federal and Washington State funding for Clark County transportation capital improvements and the use of any Washington funding sources dedicated for transportation purposes, such as toll proceeds and fuel taxes.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) is a cabinet-level department headed by the Secretary of Transportation.
