What is adult abuse?

What is the process for becoming a foster parent or foster family?

The process for becoming a foster parent or foster family can be lengthy and complicated. Multiple background checks are required, including FBI and state police criminal background checks and clearance through the state registry for child abuse and neglect. Foster parents are also required to participate in training prior to fostering and on an ongoing basis.
