What is "school choice"?

Traditional Public Schools typically assign students to schools based on their residency. School choice programs include voucher programs, open enrollment in other school districts, Charter Schools, Magnet Schools, and home schooling.

What are Vocational-Technical Schools?

Vocational-Technical, or Vo-Tech, Schools are schools that provide training in trades or technical fields, usually on a part-time basis, to students. While part of the school-day or week is spent in Vo-Tech coursework, the traditional portion of the curriculum is provided by the student's home school district. Most Vo-Tech Schools are for students in high school grades.
