CountyOffice.org supports local communities by making it easier to find the contact information, hours, locations, phone numbers of county government offices in the United States. Our organization plans to better the lives of people living in our communities by offering a scholarship twice per year on an annual basis.
Our organization feels it is our public duty to help our nations future generations receive a quality education. We are honored to receive eligible applicants for our scholarship awards.
How to Apply
Please write a 500-1500 word essay for the following prompt: "Describe how one of the local government offices (or type of office) listed on our website has improved your own life and/or the lives of people around you."
Applications that are submitted on time by eligible applicants will be judged based on their ability to demonstrate a well-written and persuasive use of the essay prompt.
US citizens 16 years of age and older who are either in their senior year of high school or currently enrolled in an accredited institute of higher learning are eligible to apply. Scholarship awards will be sent directly to the institution the student is enrolled in. Recipients of previous County Office Scholarship awards are not eligible for future scholarship awards. All others are welcome to apply to prompts they have not yet applied to.
